Established in the year 1999 the Department of Information Technology came into function. The whole purpose of setting up this Department is to motivate and encourage the students to gain professional excellence in the latest technologies and make them technically sound through the foreseen plans. With a view to make the best of the entrepreneurs in future, the department lays extreme focus on individual students to inculcate the required skill sets along with ethical, social and moral values. With the internet spreading its World Wide Web and entire world being under its influence, the role of IT has far increased than before. It is now viewed as an important & powerful tool for the future. The Department has all the necessary facilities like a well equipped lab, seminar halls, class rooms which support e learning and a well established Department library.
